GWP Jim Roberts recieves a check from San Jose WP John Cruz

I just wanted to let everyone know that Grand Worthy President Jim Roberts made a previously unannounced visit to San Jose Aerie #8 this past Sunday, March 1st. To mark this occasion, San Jose had decided to host a membership appreciation dinner. Chef Jeff Kaiser and Robert Prieto prepared a tri-tip dinner with all the fixin’s and it included one of Jeff’s wonderful dessert creations.

There was no charge for dinner, although donations as always were accepted if you chose to make one. No-host cocktails began at 5pm with dinner service at 6:00.

Acheck was presented to Jiim in the amount of $250.00 for his charity TLC for Children and Families.

This was Jim Roberts’ only stop in Northern California on this trip through our great state.
